Mic wount work in Dayz, works otherwise.

As titel, mic wount work in dayz. I get the mic icon showing in direct channel but it seems that ppl dosnt hear me.

All my drivers are up to date and mic also works in vent/skype/ts etc...

Have also played around with sound settings in Arma2 but no luck.

Suggestions?

nope, but ill bump this. Going to set a mic up later tonight and was looking around for pointers to get it working in DayZ.

My friends mic work. But they havent done anything to get it working, it just worked when they installed and played the game.

I have the exact same problem and my friends mic is working aswell without doing anything else than installing the game. Kinda frustrating not able to speak at all in game even if its mostly KOS now adays there is some situations where a mic is very useful.

Really frustrating. When i wanna play for myself it is a hassel to communicate with other survivors.

Oh well, i hope some1 have a idea how to fix it.

Try running the game as an administrator. It worked for me when I had microphone problems.
