How does the car inventory system work?

Me and my friends have a UAZ and the one thing I have been wondering is how does the inventory system work on it. I don't mean how do we open it or something Really noobish like that, but instead the UAZ is listed with 50 item slots. If we put a tire in for example would it make it 6/50 slots used or is every single item that is put in the inventory count as only one slot regardless of how much room it took up in one's inventory? Additionally it has 10 weapon slots, if all item slots are used and we put in a weapon it wouldn't use any inventory space, only the weapon space correct?

weapon and item slot are splitted.. u can put in 10 weapons and 50 items.. even like wheels, which take 6 in bagback, take only 1 in your tent/vehicle..but keep in mind that things that go to your toolbelt or eyes(nvgs,bino,rf) are counted as weaponslot

This thread http://dayzmod.com/f...ehicles-repair/ contains all vehicles, and there inventory spaces. The UAZ has 50/10/7, which is 50 magazine slots (this is stuff like tires), 10 weapons, 7 backpacks.
