Unable to join any DayZ servers (battleye initialization error)

Ok so here's my problem:

basically I have bought the ArmA CO pack, installed the battleye for both of them. Installed DayZ (like twice); I have to launch steam with administrator, no big deal, then I launch Arrowhead right click it and launch the C.O. from steam. once its up I go to multiplayer servers, DayZ filter it. Click any old good looking server, none of which have passwords, it first loads me in to the server, then I click "ok" it loads the first bar, then brings me to the second where it gets stuck at about 85ish% loaded. It then puts me back at the server list, I get pissed of course, and if I (quickly)

join another server in the dialogue it says "Battleye initialization error".

An important sidenote would be that if I don't launch it from steam, as administrator, in CO, then the first checklist stops at the last two. not sure how important that is really. it says the errors, I cant really recall them.

These are my specs baby (maybe not good enough, idk):

6 GB of RAM

Windows 7 64 bit

Intel Core2 Quad CPU Q9300 @ 2.5 GHz 2.5 GHz

VideoCard (a possible achilles' heel?): NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GS

So yes... any help would be SO much appreciated, I just spent like, 30 bucks on this game and dont really care to play anything but DayZ that much.

alright so, I'm still stuck with this, but I just want to update it. basically I patched a few things, like battleye, and OA and now, it does the same thing, except once it shoots me back to the server list, it shoots me into the game, where it gave me some error I think, but the whole screen stays black and it says I'm "waiting for server response"

well, I looked it up again and the error is 'bin\config.bin/CfgGlasses.pro_helmet_9' (it might be a little different I'm not too sure)

so I turned my weird ass problem into a prevalent, well known problem
