Car Battery?

It seems kind of strange to me that all of the vehicles you find in a post apocalyptic world would have fuel tank/engine problems/missing wheels, but would all have fully charged batteries?

Car battery would be good as an extra item you need to get any vehicle running. Maybe add jumper cables too to allow other running vehicles to charge a battery?

That would actually be cool, maybe harder to implement? Would make for some memorable escapes though :P Unreliable engine starts would also add to the brown trouser factor...

I dont know about that... A battery is a consumable, like gas... Kind of different to a head gasket or piston rings and what not.
