what do nvg look like on the ground?

They look like binoculars in posture, sitting upright, but have the NVG model.

Yeah. Their model is kinda messed up. You gotta collect tin cans until one of them gives you the option to equip into your binocular slot. It's tricky, but trust me, once you find the right tin can it'll feel like Christmas!

I couldnt say. My GPS's all looked like a green ammo pouch. Never found any NVG's at the barracks or any of the dozens of heli crash sites,all mine have been looted off unlucky bandits.
