i cant chat to anyone in dayz ive tried going on every single channel and trying to type and even use a microphone i even got a friend to stnad right next to me and i couldnt hear him and he couldnt me does anyone know a solution to this problem?

Could be the server. Try different servers, some seem to have issues with types of chat/voice.

Press period until you get to direct comms AKA the white letter stuff.

If he cannot use periods when he types on the forums, what makes you think he can use it to shift through the communication channels in game? :lol:
