Try with the lowest settings possible...your RAM is DDR2 or DDR3?

My desktop is running a Intel Core 2 Duo Q6600

2 GB DDR2 RAM

Nvidia GTX 550 Ti.

It runs at 1080x1920 just fine.

I'm running XP 32 bit btw

No it's not a desktop replacement that weighs 15 pounds. It's a 15" laptop that's less than an inch thick.
