Loading error?

Does anyone have any idea whats wrong with my game? I join servers and stuff okay (albeit very slowly) but when the server loads I just see some untextured plain, i can still use text chat and access the menu but cant do anything like move or whatever. it's like the game has frozen, but it isnt frozen because i see birds moving.

The game is using Steam and everything has been set up correctly.

I give the servers a decent chance' date=' at least 10 minutes to half an hour. It's not connecting to the servers that's the problem, it's actually playing the game. I have attempted a few different servers as well, just in case.

I redownloaded the files, did all the steps again and now I can't connect to servers at all, I get a "bad version" message...

I'm using a legit Arma2 and OA, by the way, before I get accused of using a generated key or something.
