Hello everyone!

I'm the server admin of server DE 171.

If you got reports, complains, or improvements upon the server please post it here, theres nothing much else to say about the server really.

GMT+1 Veteran (CH:OFF 3D:OFF MAXPING: 50) Settings based on lots of players who wanted a veteran server for players with low ping for best player experience as possible.

Feel free to join in, I'm also available on IRC, WebIRC.GameSurge.net #dayz Xaio|DE171 for faster support in case of reports or just random questions.

hey, hello, great server:

me and my friends using it currently as main-server. however, there are some issues. it will be nice if you could give me more information. first, i have some graphic bugs in cherno. some weird black stripes are weirdly and fast flashing through my screen, when i look towards the city. if i look at the sea, no problem occurs. also, the skybox sometimes turns gray, also flashing. is there any way, i could fix this? or is it on the server..:/. my pc can handle arma2, and i had no such problems on other servers.

before the patch we also lost connection to the server, multiple times(no message received for x seconds). weirdly, it happened as we tried to save a ural civilian full of weapons. after we lost the ural, everything went back to normal. i dont want to insult the admin, but this was very weird, since admins tend to use the ural.

however, im more concerned about the graphic glitch.

I may not be the Admin of this server, but I can tell you that you're not the only one with those graphical issues - just hang out, the upcoming patch (1.7.2.5) is probably going to fix this (check the "Announcements" section of these forums for detailed information).

And concerning your Ural: I don't think the admin(s) did this intentionally. Please be aware of the fact that this is still a mod in alpha-stage.

Honesty i got more guns than I need. Not to brag, and a ural with its white sticking out of any hiding place is one of my last on the list. As someone already explained to you the graphic glitches will be fixed tomorrow. (no idea wheb, but I will update it asap, meaning when I'm awake and sees it out)

And being an admin I can only kick/ban ppl, also restart the server. Not see anything besides what you seen. Yesterday night were a bit problematic as the server went down several times, hopefully fixed but I can't guarantee a 100% uptime if I ain't hosting it myself.

Hope this clear some things out, and if there's some specific guns you really NEED due to the lost one I could make an exception and Trust your story and give it to you.

though, a rangefinder and a baf as50 glitched out of the game. the rangefinder was in my inventory and dissapeared, and the as50 disapeared out of one of the tents. it was clearly not stolen, because all the mags were still in there, and lots of other high end stuff, such as nvg..:)

dont bother giving me any of this back. since it wasnt your fault there is no need. but thanks anyways.

I know, but i still care for the players on the server.

But i tell you what, if you find a m4a1 holo (the one with the grenade launcher) i can give you some nice items for it in return!

Same thing happened to me this day. I was playing yesterday at some server and suddenly hacker killed the whole server. Then i started new character and met so me guy who had SVD camo on his back and he told me to kill him :huh: . So i killed him and took his SVD. Today i started running to our camp at De 171 but when i got there....nothing there. Tents were missing. And the weird thing is that the tens are like 300m from each others inside some trees. :(
