How to load a character >.<

This might sound stupid but i just started playing yesterday played for a couple hours with my friend got a lot of new stuff bags, weapons etc. and now when i go to play it just makes me a new character. Am i doing something wrong or did i forget to save my last character XD help me!

If you are talking about the "waiting for character to create" thing, yes it's normal.

No a different one, would that be my problem?

Go back and see if that server is part of the hive a.k.a. make sure they aren't saving to a local database.

Is so then just kill the new character that you have now and hopefully your old character will load when you respawn. Its a bug that I have run into a couple of times, sometimes I get my character back and other times I'm not so lucky.

That happened to me once, depends if the server is syncing with the HIVE database (the place where DayZ grabs your character) just join other servers until you load your 'actual' character.
