Kicks and Error creating Direct3D 9 Graphical engine

Recommended Posts

Like many other people I see, the new update to Arma 2 has screwed up my game. Before I could play Day Z without any problems. Now, any time I try to join a Day Z server I get kicked within secounds. Why am I getting kicked from servers? I have no idea. So I went looking for answers and according to one bloke, I had to start up Arma 2 and Arma 2 OA and let them run. Then exit. Well luanching Arma 2 went fine but as soon as I tried to launch Arma 2 OA I get "Error creating Direct3D 9 Graphical engine". I have been looking for ways to fix this, so far none have worked or were explained well enough for me to understand what to do.

On a side note, I can open Day Z just fine. I just can't join any servers on it.

Thus, I need help.

UPDATE: After not being able to find a solution to my problem. I decided to just reinstall the game. Arma 2 OA is no longer giving me the "Error creating Direct3D 9 Graphical engine". However, I'm still getting kicked off every Day Z server as soon as I join.

HELP!

That link is not helping.

"When I join the server I get kicked back to the lobby without any error messages.

Launch Operation Arrowhead from steam and select the option to re-install BattlEye Anti-Cheat client. If you are using retail download the latest version form http://www.battleye.com/download.html and put it in a folder named "BattlEye" in the "Expansion" folder of your Arma2:OA main directory."

I can't re-install BattleEye. Everytime I try. NOTHING HAPPENS! I can click it all I want and the game will never start and not program starts up.

HELP!
