Freezes at Inventory and Game Menus

Hi,

My computer can run DayZ on high settings with no graphical or lag glitching whatsoever. My only issue is that when I press G to open the inventory, or ESC to open the game menu, the inventory/menu opens, but the game freezes for about 45 seconds before I have control over the mouse. The game freezes again whenever I close these menus. How would I fix this?
