Downside 15 Posted July 26, 2012 Hopefully some fellow streamers could help me with some settings I might be missing?I have all my settings on Very High and I get 35-50 FPS in Cherno. I see no FPS difference between Very High, High and Normal settings. But when I stream I get 10-15 FPS around any towns small or big.Processor: Core™ i7-2600K Processor, 4GHz w/ 8MB CacheMotherboard: GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3Memory: Vengeance LP 16GB DDR3 1600MHzHarddrive: Western Digital Caviar Black WD5001AALS 500GB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard DriveVideocard: GTX 570 1.2 GB DDR5Are my specs. xWildChild 30 Posted July 26, 2012 you should have more fps in cherno with that setupWhat do you use to livestream? If its xsplit, what resolution are you streaming in?Programs in the background?
Downside 15 Posted July 26, 2012 (edited) xsplit 1280x720 for 720p at 30fpsWhile I stream I have dxtory to capture for the stream, Ventrilo and my twitch.tv page for chat. But while I'm streaming my Usage is around 35% and memory is around 25%. I Stream in full screen, I tried window mode and didn't see a difference sadly. xWildChild 30 Posted July 27, 2012 Have you tried turning off the capturing? iirc that takes a LOT of power
Downside 15 Posted July 27, 2012 Turns out it was just a bad server I was on. I stream with 10 fps less than I would without streaming on a good stable server.
simjedi 43 Posted July 27, 2012 (edited) I don't stream, but I used this guide with the x264 codecs and there is barely a fps drop. Just make sure to use the exact settings because he wasn't joking, anything else will give a big hit.GUIDE Edited July 27, 2012 by SIMJEDI
