Hi,

I am trying to play DayZ, even Arma2 won't work but it had worked prior to today. I am getting the following message:

Datafile too short 'c:\program files\ arma 2 operation arrowhead\EXPANSION\addons\weapons_e -.pbo'. Expected 302855219 B, got 302120960 B.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

I am having the same issue on one of my desktops.

I believe the fix is to do as follows:

1. Run Steam as an Administrator

2. Let Steam update ARMA II and ARMA OA

3. Right click ARMA OA in Steam and click 'Properties' then go to Local Files

4. Click on Defragment Cache Files

5. Run Six Launcher

At this stage you SHOULD be good to go.
