Stand alone DayZ. What does rocket need from us?

Recommended Posts

Im very interested to know what rocket needs from us as a community to help DayZ go stand alone?

We all play DayZ here, so what else?

I'm sure a lot of other people are interested to know what we can do to help push the project along I would like to hear from anyone that knows the process or has any knowledge of it or even from the man himself what is needed.

We are all here signed up, listening and ready to go.

So what is needed?

I would do anything I can to help DayZ standalone. Getting it off the ground is Rockets turf though. I'm sure if/when he needs us to do anything for it he will not hesitate to ask. He knows DayZ has a great community and are willing to help where we can. :P. I can not wait for this to go standalone though. XD.

Right not DayZ is profitless it's money is highly likely from investors that will be paid when a standalone version comes out. So rocket and his development team have to maintain the forums that has been receiving A LOT of traffic during these past months from they're own pockets as well as maintain servers.

What? I never said anything about DayZ making profits or them maintaining servers? I was just saying that I, and most people who play it, would do anything they could to help DayZ become a standalone. Not flaming or anything, I just don't understand your reply in regards to my post.

We've been trying to get him to do Kickstarter, but he insists that he won't make enough to cover the entire project. But that's what he doesn't get, it's called KICKSTARTER. Not Kickfinisher. He can easily start his project with the inevitable 6m he'd make from Kickstarter.
