Hutch (DayZ) 116 Posted July 26, 2012 I've done this a couple of times when I was killed by Zombies or bled out in a safe place.When I respawn, if I know where I was and I know where I am and am close enough, I'll just sprint as fast as I can to my corpse and get my stuff back.Zombies in tow if nessisary.It's not always feasable and If I'm killed by another player I assume he's looted me of anything valuble and then hid my body.Anyone else have tales of looting their own fly ridden corpse? It's really boring but I wait out the people who killed me and as I crawl towards my body someone logs in basically standing on my dead body.I freeze where I am and lay probe just hoping he thinks I'm just another dead body. One fateful day, after being convinced to go save my cousin from Elektro, (Bleeding without a bandage + blood bag) I was running due east, because I went too far south and hit Cherno. I was walking along the treeline, attempting to hide myself and my high end military loot from prying players, when I ran into an enormous mountain...Can anybody see where this is going?Anyways, I slid down, to my death on Pik Kozlovka.
