Kophka 109 Posted April 29, 2012 Like the title suggests, what the heck is JayArma2.lib, and why is it screwing up my attempts to play? I'm using sixupdater, so let me know if it's a sixupdater issue. Here's the deal. I tried to run the Dayz Mod, and it says that JayArma2 is not allowed, and doesn't launch the game. Can't play using SixUpdater, and using BETA patch to play on the two 99 slot servers is too convoluded with little to zero instruction on how to do it with STEAM version.Also, why is @JayArma2lib_new incompatible and grayed out? I have "Beta" checked on Six Updater, and used "Create new preset with server mods", and it says JayArma2lib_new is incompatible AND when you try to connect to ANY server using this method (ie: the one we're told to do right and left) it says ALL of the bisigns are NOT signed by any server, and it kicks you.Seriously, wtf is this?! The game is launching now, so I'm hoping this is it. Thanks man!EDIT : Well, the game launched, but when I joined server, I got a long list of jayarma2 stuff that isn't allowed, so I guess I'm not gonna zombie hunt today. :( Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Each mod has its own "Addons" folder that gets included in to the main Addons folder when the mod is called.You need to go to your main Addons folder in your arma directory, and delete any mod file (hopefully just JayArma2)....unless you are still calling the mod (@JayArma2lib) on start-up. Then in that case, just remove the call from the launcher options line.That is incorrect. If that were true then roughly 50 people wouldn't be playing on those servers atm as those 99slot servers REQUIRE the beta version I have AND the mods on the server list is via sixUpdater. Unless of course the people running those 99slot servers are completely asshats and have a private version of all of it and aren't listing it publicly OR put the proper versions on SixUpdater :)?Either way, annoying -.- Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Kophka 109 Posted April 30, 2012 Each of my mods has it's very own @ folder, the six updater did a great job of that. My addons folder doesn't have any extraneous folders inside it, only what seems to be a bunch of different vehicles and whatnot. The problem still remains. It seems that "jayarma2lib" is a REQUIRED mod for the Day Z servers, because Six Updater says so. However, it is also NOT ALLOWED by the Day Z servers, so I get kicked out, or the game fails to launch. So is it a problem with "jayarma2lib"? Is it a problem with the Day Z server telling Six Updater it's required mods? Is it a problem with Six Updater misinterpreting information from the Day Z servers? I don't know, I just know I'm a Sad Kophka. :(I'm going to try doing it without Six Updater. I've thrown the JayArma mod folder out, going to see if I can just launch the Day Z by itself from my steam folder. Wish me luck! Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
blacknite3d 0 Posted April 30, 2012 The servers are running verify signature 2, and to my knowledge, jayarma2lib doesnt have version 2 signatures? So the server parameters might say its running jayaram2lib, but the verify signatures doesnt detect the bikey for it so it kicks people out. I dont know, because I cant even join the servers without getting kicked out. But I ran a server before and that was my problem with verify signatures 2.
