Joining servers by IP

Hello, im new here and this is my first post XD

So far i am enjoying the game, although it is very hard but im sure ill get better,my only problem is its really hard trying to join the same servers as friends, so i was wondering if it is possible to join a server by ip, like say if a friend gives me the ip of a server then i can type that it and join it ?

He was asking how to join server by typing in the ip, not how tyo find the server ip.

I know, if you actually read the posts on that topic u would see it answers both questions.

Easy to join by IP, just click 'Launch' on the Six Launcher, go into the multiplayer server browser and click the IP button along the bottom of the screen :)
