Can I join my friend?

Hi guys , been playing arma2/dayz for about a week and I still cant figure out how to join my friend w/o looking for the same server in the server list. I tried to join him by steam friend , did not work , sry if its already been ask , cant find any topic on this subject. thanks!

You cant join to your friend, just use filters.

You can download DayZ Commander. It's a 3rd party server browser with a friend's list and it has worked for me!

he tells you which server he plays on/joins, then you type the name in your server filters. and if your using dayz commander/six launcher, then there is a bar you can type in, write the name there example LU 92...

Does not work on steam friends.

The easiest thing to do is use the filters to pick the same or similar servers.

So if you choose, say, US888, then put that in the filter.

As said above, but I will add... your friends can press "I" in game and the name of the server will be on his screen... in case he's forgotten.
