Highest ban possible?

So is an IP ban the highest level of a ban one can receive on the forums? This is for general curiosity and I am sorry if this isnt in the right section of the forum, please move it if necessary.

Not sure, but IP's are easily spoofed and changed.

That's basically what I was getting at, a simple "Release/Renew" will effectively allow you back onto the server lol Thanks for your reply

The only reason I post this is because I saw someone receive an IP ban and the person said they wouldnt be seeing him anytime soon, Got me thinking about how silly it is.

Actually a MAC ban is the highest, they can IP ban you then MAC ban you . i dont know if battle eye MAC bans yet , but moving forward they can look at it. From what I know and have read, if you get MAC & IP banned you therefor have to buy a new PC if you want to continue playing the game online..................that is.

We also ban a range of IP addresses if we find you particularly troublesome.

You could simply block an IP or if you want to have some fun you can redirect it instead :P

in your .htaccess (for an ip range of 123.123.123.*) Of course it will need to be re-written for nginx
