A few noob questions

1) What does it mean when it says "uses mode files arma 2: british armed forces (lite)" when i have the full version of arma 2

2) how do you respawn without leaving the server it says go to player select screen but how do you do that

3) when i try to join a server it says "waiting for server response" is this normal or is there a fix for it

4) is there some way to make the game run any faster im getting signifficant lag but i can play games like call of duty and any other steam game ive tried to run

2. If you die, hit abort, Okay, You should be at the Player Selection (Not server selection) Click okay to respawn/join the server.

3. This is normal, if it doesn't work in five minutes reconnect.

1) I get the same thing I have Arma2 and Operation Arrowhead, there are others and I believe the (lite) versions are portions from those other expansions. Its legit, don't worry about it.

2) When you see YOU ARE DEAD screen. Just hit ESC, select Abort then disconnect (you are not actually leaving the server). This will take you back to, what I call the BLUEFOR screen (aka the slot selection screen). From here you can hit ok like you did when you first joined the server to get back at it.

3) Waiting for Response happens to everyone at some point. Due to the popularity of this Mod the main server that holds everyone's information is getting hammered. Don't worry too much, wait or try a different server.

4) 1.5.8.2 might have a performance bug atm, we don't know for sure what can be causing it until the Dev Team has a look into it. Other than that you should do your normal video options to get better performance. Turn off Vsync if you have mid range machine. Lower shadows, HDR, View distance. The game is a little slower paced too. Think of a Tactical CoD server.

1) British Armed Forces and Private Military Company are two Arma2:Operation Arrowhead DLC-Addons. Luckily Bohemias DLC policy is non-exclusive so, if you don't buy it you will still be able to play with others that did and use all skins, guns and vehicles. The only drawback to this is, that you won't see those assets in full detail that's why it sais (lite) because it uses lower quality textures. You can see the effects of that on your ingame character. The skin of any survivor is one from Private Military Company if you compare it to cloths of zombies or bandits you'll recognise that you're cloths look a bit more washed out in comparison.

If you value the high resolution textures of these skins and maybe want to play some of the offered missions and campaigns that come with those DLC you might want to buy them.
