Hello DayZ Forums.

TeamSpeak 3 comes with an optional plugin called TeamSpeak overlay. Basically, it gives you an overlay of TS3 ingame, such as who is speaking and so on.

Some games recognizes this as a hack though, because it tampers with the game I believe. Can anyone confirm if this will result in an autoban or not?

I've heard of people claiming they've been banned for using it, but I've been using it in Source-based games for a long time and never had an issue. I've only recently stopped using it as it wasn't as useful as I thought it would be, distracting me in a game where I need my focus and wits about me. I feel this is the same in Dayz, and I won't be using it, but if VAC don't see it as a cheat, I myself would assume that it's fine.

Probably best to contact Battleye themselves to ask.

Already was on the forums. Check before u post again. - http://dayzmod.com/f...ay/#entry403896

With all the recent script updates, I'm not relying on posts that are over 2-3 patches/week old.

Reconsider your value to society and your ability to think critically before you ever decide to inhale again. I thought all this was very obvious, WavezZ.

Go read the BattlEye website, it specifically says that TS Overlay will not result in a BE ban.

Here....Let me Google that for you...top of the list sir. Have a nice day.

Game overlays will not send out a global ban! Running scripts does and that's if they're recognized by BE.
