Loot save problem

Ok, it happens many times with me and i just want know how i can avoid that situation

1. i found the best backpack on airfield - exchange my alice with new one

after 5 mins i quit server, and later join again

i see my old alice pack and some staff disappeared becouse of smallest size

2. tonight i found 2 guys crashed on helicopter

i loot them, they have good rifles that exist in game - not cheaters

after 10 mins i change server and again i see old loot and staff in my equipment.

All i loot from those guys - disappeared.

Tell me what i do wrong?

Ok, that time i need to present on server to save loot on hive?

If i die - no need to wait before hive fix my death, BUT if i dont want to lose my staff i must stay.
