I need help with backpacks!

Recommended Posts

So i have come across the Czech Backpack on many occasions. It is supposed to have 12 slots, whereas the starter Coyote patrol is supposed to have 8, but when I count the slots in the starter i have 12, and when i switch the the czech i still have 12... Someone please help me understand this...

Czech Vest Pouch - 6

Coyote Patrol Pack - 8

Assault Pack - 12

Czech Backpack -16

ALICE Pack - 20

Coyote Backpack - 24

These are the backpacks and their slots, courtesy of the DayZ Wiki.

Are you sure you're examining the slots properly and not checking the Czech twice?

He is checking his pockets, and not opening his backpack.

Aren't pockets/backpack slots one in the same?

after pressing G, double click your backpack to open it.

To make it more clear, go to a loot pile (empty tin cans or the likes)...open the lootpile and while in that interface, double click your backpack.

This. Click on your bag. Then click open bag. Equip the Czech backpack before doing so and leave the patrol pack. 16 extra slots for equipment. ;)

Nope.

No, when you press G, the interface you see will be the stuff you have "quick access" to... IE Grenades you can throw, magazine you can reload, Jerry cans you can fill up a car with.
