Weapon question and Bug question

Ok, so first off I recently found a L85A2 AWS and I was wondering if there's a way to toggle off both night vision and thermal vision so I can just see normally through the scope. I tried / on the numpad as its described in the controls options but nothing was happening. Broad daylight makes it very difficult to see. Lol

I logged off a server in the woods and was curious of how many days I have survived so far so I log back in the same server just a few seconds later only to see the server say I was killed and my body was laying in front of me with all my gear intact. The weird part is that it shows my leg broken when it actually isn't.

Can anyone answer either of these two?

You can't as far as I know, so use the thermal during day time.

Obviously a bug, nothing you can do about it, try another server. May be a hacker or a glitch involving damage coming from god knows where. Sorry about that.

I had switched from it to my makarov and back and for a moment I had clear vision. So I had hopes that it was possible.

And as far as the broken leg goes I'll just take some morphine then. Thanks for replying.
