Do servers that patch the game reset vehicles? Or did ours get Stolen

Instead of looking for my Offroad Pickup Truck for another 30 minutes I need to know if it got reset or stolen.

What happened: So I parked my Truck in a spot in a forest then saved it. About an hour later I get in it and drive close to Povereka. Then the server admin states on Global Chat that this server going to update or whatever. I already hid my truck a bit and started to run back to save it but was too far away and the server got updated. So After a long ass run to where it was previously saved I can't really find it anywhere. Although the area where I hid it is pretty big.

So now I need to know, is my vehicle gone for good and reset somewhere, or did someone steal it, or am I just not finding it?

Server is US 607

No way to know. From what I understand, cars and tents can be kinda buggy. So it might have gotten eaten by server gremlins, or someone might have stolen it.

I wish I could be more definitive, but yesterday I had a couple crashes and a server restart unexpectedly while driving. It was a pain, but in each case, I was able to find the vehicle.

In one case, I was further back than I had travelled, and the van was ahead of me... So check your whole trail.

The server may need another restart, however, if there are other vehicles and tents your car most likely got stolen.

As I've been looking for it I have found two tents. (Although not that much great of stuff inside unfortunately.)

did your tents appear but not your vehicle? there's sometimes a glitch where tents and vehicles don't spawn in and will reappear on the next reset. Saving a vehicle isn't critical anymore its more of an old feature the vehicle saves everytime you get out of it or access the gear
