Anyone else like emptying survivors backpacks without them knowing?

So I got bored of killing the mindless drones that pay no attention to their surroundings.

Very fun to sneak up on someone and wait until they are looting or otherwise occupied and emptying out their backpack leaving a tin can behind. I even grabbed an AKM with 3 mags off some guy. I see in chat all the time after doing this "wtf my backpack is empty!!!". Very fun explaining to them how I stole everything off their backs and could have killed them 10 times over.

Unfortunately my 1.5 terabyte drive took a dump, so no recordings for a while.

Its really easier then you think, non-bandits just don't think about pvp or pay attention to their surroundings enough, get too caught up looking for loot and avoiding zombies.

Fine, after work I'll try to grab some screen shots. Seriously, just go try it, if you are even halfway sneaky its pretty easy to pull off. Even easier if you have a survivor skin, agree to help someone and everytime they stop grab something from their pack.

Thats how I did it at first, then I killed 2 survivors later to get my bandit skin back. Now its harder to do, but so much more rewarding.

It occurred to me that these may be people who are (foolishly) AFK or Alt-Tabbed.

The other day I was watching a cross roads and two guys ran up. They stood near one another, right in the road. I thought that was bad enough, then they moved to an intersection.

They were just standing there again, and I thought... are they listening? How could the be so careful about listening and not vision (it was bright day time).

Then, one of them ran quite suddenly to a position in a couple of trees on the other side of me. If they were watching, one would likely see me. Nothing happened.

Craning my neck to watch them, I was getting ready in case I was spotted and had to defend myself. They suddenly started moving.

Turns out they had been AFK for those couple of minutes. They thanked me for not killing them in chat.... But sure, in that case I could have taken their stuff....

...I have GOT to try this next time I'm out there. Is it known if you can loot weapons? It would be hilarious to disarm someone.

Even if you can't, trying to take their stuff would be awesome, steal all their bullets maybe?

You can only take stuff from their backpack (via the scroll menu). Can't access main inventory until they are dead.
