tacooftwister22 10 Posted July 26, 2012 I have been trying to find a vehicle for a while now and the only I did find disappeared from a server restart. I have checked like 8 different spots on the dayzdb map and some of the spots I checked on a couple different servers. None of the servers had vehicles in any spawns and even one of the servers was a brand new server and all 6 spots I checked had nothing. How do vehicles work in this game? Do they just spawn at their spots on the dayzdb map and stay there till a player takes them? Do they respawn? Finally, If I really want to get a vehicle and have all the parts needed where is a definite spot I could go to in order to find one? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Disgraced 1123 Posted July 26, 2012 How vehicles work:The server is restarted (sometimes, I think, by arrangement so the people in the know get the vehicles)Then the vehicles spawn, and people grab them and go hide them. schwifty 22 Posted July 26, 2012 The list on the DB map are 'possible' vehicle spawns. Only a certain amount of them will be there once the server restarts. More wont be available until the current ones are destroyed and the server restarts again.Once you find one you should fix it up right away if you want to keep it. Once you fix the hull enough to get the gear option you should be able to save it. It will save in that location for 3 days. So if you dont go back for it, it will disappear.
