Are ALL weapons supposed to knock me out?

It seems no matter what I am hit with I am always knocked out first hit by a player. Someone came up with an axe, hit me once and then I was pretty much dead since I was stuck being knocked out. If this is a bug, can someone confirm? If not. Why not just make it a one hit kill then?

Depends on how much blood you have, depends on what calibre bullets hits you.

Sometimes it one shot kills...sometimes it just knocks you out for a bit and you start to bleed out...othertimes breaking legs.

It's no bug. So you can hope for .5 seconds, just to make losing you shit a little worse. Also so you can get on good death cry out in chat so scary the person runs in fear of your respawn and leaves your shit. Or just to call them a pussy for shooting an unarmed player.

Like I said. I was hit by an axe and I have heard of people being knocked out with every weapon on the first hit. I have 11k blood btw.

And axe does 4500 damage. I'm not sure the damage to blood to knocked out ratio or if its just random. But if you got hit by an axe you have other problems to be worried about. If your getting shot 99% chance your dead anyway knock out or none. The only knock out you should be worried about is with zombies. They can be very random attest for me. I just got 1 hit by a zombie throw a fence with 1200 blood that knocked me out and i was swarmed. I'm not going to complain how that makes no sense. Just scream your done with Dayz eat something and do it again.

Unlucky. Worst knock out I got was from one revolver shot from some greifer 30 seconds after spawning. But once I got lucky and survived a Lee Enfield shot :)
