Random Spawing Stats

Recommended Posts

I've been playing DayZ for a while now and I had an idea Id like to share and see what you guys think. Not sure if its a good idea but i thought it was worth sharing.

I feel like every time you die or start a new Character that character should have different traits than your last character, So it kinda mixes the game up a bit, so you have to take different approaches in certain situations. And by stats I mean like sometime you spawn with different running speed, your more silent when walking, more accurate with a pistol than a rifle etc. For example you and your friend are running but you run maybe 2 mph faster than your friend so gradually over time you will gain distance over him/her and you'll probably have to wait for your partner a couple of times when running. But over time your partners running will speed up. "the more you something the better you get at it" But for this to work, respawing must be either limited or have a time penalty so you don't just keep killing yourself until you get the stats you want or spawn where you want. I think that maybe if you survive for at least 30 minuets that you should be able to instant spawn but if you just keep killing yourself to spawn with different stats or spawn somewhere you want there should be a death penalty of maybe 2 minuets?

What do you think about this?

If you have any contributions or improvements for this idea id like to hear what you have to say.
