How do I get blood back? Bandages seem to stop me losing it - thats sensible enough.

I believe there are blood transfusions, but I've not yet found one and not sure where to look.

I took pain killers but they didn't give me more blood...... people say to travel with them an morphine all the time. Does morphine regain blood? If so, where do I find morphine?? If not, whats the point in them?

I've only been playing a few days and have avoided the bigger towns thus far. The smaller towns along the coast don't have any that I can find.

Food and blood transfusions will regenerate blood. Cans of food restore something like 200 blood units. Cooked meat restores 800, I think. Morphine will "fix" broken bones, I think.

to make a blood transfusion you need yourself and an other person. You gain 200 blood from canned food and 800 blood from cooked meat. To get meat you need a hunting knife and kill an animal and gut it. Then you either create a fire place with a box of matches and a pile of wood or light a fire on those green barrels found on gas stations and cities.

You can regain blood by eating and by getting a blood transfusion. Cooked food gives more blood back than canned food but both give quite little in comparison with blood packs, but you need someone to give you a blood transfusion, cant give it to yourself.

Allow me to elaborate further from these people's posts. You need to find food, get food, or have a blood transfusion in order to regain your lost blood. If you have anywhere above 10,000 blood, seek finding canned foods such as Frank and Beans, Baked Beans, Pasta, or Macaroni. If your blood is lower than ten thousand, you are going to need and want to get to a supermarket where many canned goods can and will be found, get a friend to perform a blood transfusion, or get these items to hunt an animal, gut it, start a fire, cook the meat, and eat it.

You need, to eat cooked meat:

1. Hunting knife
   
2. Hatchet, or a wood pile
   
3. Box of Matches
   
4. Means of killing an animal (such as a gun or using the hatchet)

Just need to find some matches and an animal now as I have the hatchet and knife.
