What exactly do i need?

I bought ARMA2 quite a while ago in a steam sale before expansion was out i dont have the expansion.. To play Dayz can i just buy the expansion or do i have to buy the Combined opp version

If you buy Operation arrowhead and install with Arma II that is all you need. You do not need the Private Military or British Forces add-on to play Dayz. I suggest using sixupdater if you are not familiar with running mods. Hope this helps.

EDIT: once you install armaII and arrowhead that is when it becomes combined ops. you cannot buy anything called combined ops.
