Server naming

I've noticed that the Virginia servers all list their difficulty and time zone in the server name. Can we get an official suggestion from Rocket that everyone do this? It can be frustrating to jump into servers blind and not know what you're getting into.

agreed. its not that big of a deal for the server provider either. they just have to write their settings in the name. but it would make the life of players a lot better.

Also suggested to NY 7 (Faindizzle) admin while he was on, that the server should have a message display every 5-10 minutes with the server name listed.

Or a variable command, not entirely sure how Arma handles these... much like hitting the console and typing /servername

You can probably count 50+ players in the span of an hour asking 'which server is this??'

also, server version should be listed first, before region and number so that it can be added to the filter line

Standardizing Server names to include these bits of information should be done.

Ideally it should be forced through code.
