Need fix for an Error please.

I have a friend who keep getting kicked from all servers when trying to log in. The error is telling him there is something wrong with anims_e.pho

How do we fix this?

You can try reinstalling the beta patch, stable patch (now 1.62), or you can try verifying your game if using steam.

Generally updating all your files on @DayZ to the newest and most current files would work. If it still wont work, make sure you have @DayZ enabled and that your running from the beta patch. If this still doesnt work, you might be trying to connect to a illegitimate server or are trying to log in to a modified dayz server. Make sure that the server has the @Hive expansion, meaning it a official dayz hosting server, and uses BI's Hive.

If your a steam user I would jump onto this thread and follow this process.

Worked for me and a LOT of other people who have been having issues.

If you are having the problems with steam or six launcher and everything is updated my surgestion is to run the game from the arma 2 OA exe. In your program files.
