Can someone tell me what happend? (newcomer)

Hmm. Me and my friend found a car. It was getting dark, and we dont like playing when night so we left the car in some trees, and left the server. We btw found alot of SVD mags, blood packs and this gun. http://www.dayzwiki.com/wiki/index.php?title=M4A1_Camo_SD in the car.

Now, when its still night. I wanted to join the server, to see if we still had our car. But when i joined. It said "Marcus was killed" (which is my name) and then i spawned at the beach in Kamenka, but with all my items and my kills and so on.

Can anyone explain to me how that happend?

Not really no. Sounds like something screwed up. in otherwords, you hit a bug of some sort. Maybe if/when the server restarted.

I'd be thankful you kept everything.

Also, I've had the same glitch. Server lost connection for everyone and when I rejoined, It said I was dead, but I had all of my stuff + My kill/blood stats and such. Also spawned outside of Cherno. Don't know why it does that, but hopefully the dev team knows about it and is working on it.

Yeah, im not really complaining. Just wanted to know if i did something wrong, so i could stop it from happening again. :-)

Kinda offtopic, but is there like a list somewhere where the guns is like ranked from the best or rarest, to the worst or most common?
