Multiple characters not working since 1.62

Heya folks!

I just returned from a 2 week smooching trip and as I read the 1.62 is out. I set it up and now I notice I can't use the registry key change to switch between my characters anymore. Obviously it has something to do with the 1.62 being run as Combined Operations instead of Operation Arrowhead beta client.

I was wondering if anyone has found a way around this?

I'm using the path [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Bohemia Interactive Studio\ArmA 2 OA] to change the key.

Ideas?

I don't bother changing the keys in the registry.

I just use two different windows accounts, one with each individual steam account. Works fine for us, here.

But you can't dual box like that can ya.

And by bothering you mean double clicking a file on the desktop? Seems to me that's easier than messing with multiple windows and steam accounts without the ability to dual box :)
