Hey guys,

I'm new to DayZ.

And I'm having really bad performance issues.

My system is not good at all but I don't think that DayZ runs that bad.

I tried out a few things to get better performance but nothing really helped so far

-using RAMdisk

-changing GPU_MaxFramesAhead=1;

GPU_DetectedFramesAhead=1;

-vsync=0;

AToC=0;

FXAA=0;

PPAA=0;

PPAA_Level=0;

Even with the lowest video options and the resolution 1024x768 (also for 3d) my FPS stuck at about 5-8 in cities and ~20 in the woods.

Any ideas or help ?

Core 2 Duo E8400 2x3

ATI HD 4800 Series

6GB DDR2 RAM

Intel P5Q mainboard

Windows 7 Ultimate

thanks in advance

Your system should be ok http://community.bistudio.com/wiki/Arma_2:_System_Requirements

Only thing I can say is I too recently had issues with fps (got down to 17fps in cities) and Im running a 6950.

Despite being a PC techie by trade I discovered i had allowed a virus in somehow. Clean format & reinstall later & Im running @ 50-60fps in the fields & not dropping below 30fps in cities.
