New OA patch is causing complete system lockup.

So STEAM installed the new beta patch and I go in to play some DayZ with my friends. I have my teamspeak server on so I can hear them. After about 10 minutes of playing the game crashes and all I can is the sound I had on when it crashed. Alt-F4 does nothing, CTRL + ALT + DELETE does nothing. But the weird thing is I can hear m friends talking but I can't talk back (at least I don't think I can)

So I do a hard reset and start DayZ back up again, everything runs fine for about 15 - 25 minutes and while I'm driving around in my bus and open up my map it crashes and the same thing happened again. I can still hear my friends talking but I can't talk back. Had to reset the PC again. Would installing the previous patch fix this? I thought the new patch was SUPPOSED to STOP crashing?

Steam didn't install the new beta patch. It installed the new patch. As a steam player: you no longer have the option (at least that I know off) to play on 1.60 or 1.61 servers.

Well, I turned the option to automatically update off on steam, I got the 95248 patch (I had the 95310 patch)

Also, I don't quite understand what you mean, did steam install a brand new patch or did it install the BETA patch, can you elaborate?

Can anyone give me any assistance on this? I can run the single player OA fine for a few hours, without crashes. I'm not touching the mod until I know it's fixed.
