POSIPJ 8 Posted July 25, 2012 So, I know this is a pretty popular subject right now, but I'm trying to get this crap figured out. After the update today (July 25, 2012) I get kicked as soon as I join a server. I don't know if BattlEye needs to be updated or what. I opened steam as administrator and let it update Arma 2 and Operation Arrowhead. I verified game cache, but it says, "1 files failed to validate and will be reacquired." for both Arma 2 and Operation Arrowhead. Would that be the problem? If so how do I fix it? Jasmer 77 Posted July 25, 2012 what happened last night?while i was kicked off the game entirely with the inablitiy to log into any server without getting instakicked (even instabanned by one server upon joining) i saw the dayZ forum blow up with server #'s saying "hacked server _____" and people complaining heavily about this same problem... i uninstalled Arma2: CO and reinstalling it maybe that might fix the fucked up files... If so how do I fix it?After it reacquires the files for each game, launch each of them so it can complete the first time setup. I also reinstalled the beta patch (I used 95248) after I did the verification process and I can join any server I want now. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
POSIPJ 8 Posted July 25, 2012 (edited) Yeah, I was able to join a 95248, finally. It still says it needs to reacquire those files, but if it's working then it's working. I don't know how to figure out what the latest patch is though (I know, probably easy to figure out). I see 95251 and 95310... It seems like those should be newer right? I swear I'm not an idiot.
