getting kicked from all servers

I have been playing DayZ fine the past few days with no real issues, but today there was a new Arma 2 and Arma2 :AO patch that automatically downloaded through steam and now wont let me play. My DayZ is up to date at v1.7.2.3 and the servers i join are the same. It lets me join servers just fine, but soon as i'm connected in the lobby it kicks me with the msg "you were kicked from server". This has happened to me on about 15 different servers so far, is this just an issue of DayZ isn't compatable with the latest patch yet?
