M1911 not one shotting zombies

The topic says it all. I was playing near Mogilevka, and it took 4 body shots to kill the zombies, and these were regular civilian zombies and I fought several, each taking 4 shots. Has anyone else noticed this or was it likely just a one time bug on that server? Moreover, I checked and my gun was, and still is, the m1911, not the m9, and not the makarov, etc.

I had noticed this too. I wonder if the gun was nerfed? Not too concerned as zombies aren't really a problem lol.

Check if that happens on a different server and take note of the server you were on? That's odd. Might be lag? Maybe you ended up hitting the zombie's limbs? Or do limb hits count as body shots?

That said I've seen a couple of cases where my teammates have shot zombies a few times and they're on the ground crawling, still alive so it might be server lag affecting aim and registering shots on limbs.

Yep, all of a sudden I emptied a M1911 into a single zombie and he didn't go down. Me and my mate both joked that it might be headshots only from now on, some secret server side patch perhaps, and then we ran into 10 more of the near invincible zombies. Now we don't know what to think, I went through all my ammo for my m1911 and some of my stanag just to get out of a tiny village like Kamenka.

couldn't find that patch notes. Would like 2shot though (1 shot actually is a bit op), but for me its like I'm emptying a whole revolver/M1911 Mag into a zombie from 1m distance (always blood splatters) and that bastard doesnt die. (or die again). Meanwhile, my companion is sniping down zombies with his M1911 and always doing oneshots.

I noticed this aswell. I was using my revolver to kill a few zombies in the open, and to my surprise I took 2-3 bodyshots to drop them.
