If someone DC's on you, then move!

I've seen a few posts saying things to the tune of "I was hiding somewhere, shot at someone, they DC'd and server hopped around me and killed me."

Are some of you people honestly that thick? Simply reposition quickly, and when he comes looking for you at your last known spot you shoot him in the back. You have every advantage in that situation. He has a predisposition to assuming you are where you were, he has no idea where you might now be, and he has to come looking for you, which means movement and being spotted easily, while you are secreted in a dark corner waiting for him.

I know that DC'ers are shitty assholes, but you have to be proactive about the problems in the game.

This makes no sense, the way I thought things were laid out was that if someone was shot at and the shot was somewhat accurate then they were placed in shock therefore hopping and repositioning would take awhile.
