Arma2:OA does'nt even start after the update

Been playing since 1.5.4 with Arma2:oa beta patches with no problem. Then the update goes final on Steam, and i launch the game... but blaaaaargh....

Tried absolutely everything, (I think).

->launch parameters up the wazoo

->deleting/reinstalling battleye

->launching outside steam

->installing sixlauncher(ughhh, what a UI, eh?)

->installing Dayzcommander(Looks tite! Didnt work either)

Is my only solution to uninstall everything and re-download the whole thing?

Have your tried ARMA II launcher?

The version I use is 1.4.0.0... Every install done manually, never have a problem launching at all!

Uninstalled: battleye, sixlauncher and arma2+OA.

Redownloaded and installed.

Works now :)

dunno if it'l work but did you try..

Right clicking on the game in the steam libary then at the bottom, Properties>Local FIles>Verify Integrty of Game Cahce

I have the same issues. Very odd. Was working all fine and then yesterday, my Six Launcher and ARMA II: OA off Steam won't launch. Neither of them work, despite 3 hours trying to get a working configuration going.

Re-installed DayZ, the Battle Eye client, and the beta patch. ** tumbleweed rolls across screen **
