Cannot downgrade beta patch.

Recommended Posts

So i've looked at several threads saying how to downgrade the Arma beta patch. I'm supposed to be able to delete the beta folder and install an older beta. This however does not work. I've deleted the beta folder but when I try to install a new beta. It acts like the old beta is still there. It wont let me install since the one i'm trying to install is older than the one I have installed. Currently it says I have 1.62 installed. And i'm trying to go back to 1.60. If anybody can help me get rid of this error. It would be much appreciated.

If you got 1.62 installed, then you are playing the current version of Arma. You should not try downgrade.

I want to downgrade so I can play other game modes on arma 2 multiplayer. However I also need 1.62 to play DayZ.

Having the same issue...need an older patch to play on a private server...besides there are just so much errors with the current version, it's turning into a horror movie
