Revolver 4 shot kill?

Just got on today, me and my mate both with revolvers. Shot several zombies only to find that they seemed invincible. I shot one 4 times in the chest and saw the shots register and blood spurt out, but he didn't fall. wasn't lag, tried a different server and shot some zombies 3 times only to have them chase us for the next 5 minutes. what is up with that? anyone else having these problems?

Pretty sure that's the main thread to go to, a fair few of us have been having this issue so it can't be tied to server lag. Headshots do still = 1 shot though, as usual.
