Admin Abuse on US257 (Seattle)

Last night, I was carrying an FAL, walking slowly near some trees. Suddenly, a message appeared on the center of my screen (not the chat box): "Welcome to our sever, enjoy your stay." This has never happened before, and I play on US257 regularly. This message appeared and disappeared twice. Then, suddenly, my character's legs were broken. My FAL was also no longer in my inventory. I was not shot, as my health did not change.

Could it have been a glitch? Technically, its possible. But, I had exchanged fire with several characters shortly before the message appeared... the timing is just too coincidental to ignore.

I'd like an explanation from the admins. BTW, this is not the character name I was logged in as. But, I would still expect the guilty party to know what they did and to whom, and to come forward.
