L8582AWS bug?

Guys last night before logging off I found a downed chopper and looted an L8582AWS, when I picked it up it came up with bin config entry something. As you can imagine I was jumping around for joy.

unhappily I logged in this morning in the middle of absolute nowhere and my gun was not in my inventory anymore. I still had the stanag mags but the gun was gone.

3 seconds after pressing G and seeing the gun gone the you are dead screen came up. Now it was pitch black midnite, noone around and my character that had been alive for 1500 zombie kills was just dead. Can someone seriously tell me wtf. Please

i dont know about the dead portion. But i know my clan has looted 2 in the past week or so and had them missing from there inventory upon relogging the next day.

I know the weapon is being removed. I just wish they would take it out completely rather than teasing us with it >.<

Hmm, comparing this experience to my own, I'd say that logging in with the weapon in your primary might be the source of whatever this is, bug or lame mechanic. I've continuously switched to a FN FAL and stored my L85 AWS in my ALICE pack on logout and never had a problem with it disappearing yet. Only thing I really use it for is night ops anyways obviously, and even then for finding animals at night lol Have yet to be in a populated enough night server to run across anyone up north.

Would be nice if they just removed these guns though instead of fumbling around with a semi-removal if that's what is really going on here.

The gun was never removed, it was a mistake that rocket made, as usual...

The L85 should be fixed in next patch I beleive.

You only use it at night :o What a crying shame its in your hands and not mine :( The thermal scope can be used in whatever conditions and is the fastest and best way to identify targets at any range !! Only used at night ohhhh dear.
