Do bodies disappear after a while?

As the title suggests, if I die, does my body disappear? If so, how long does it take?

It varies. If it dissapears immediately, its a bug. Not sure how long they are intended to persist but at least for 15 minutes, probably a bit longer. Also, others can use the "hide body" command on your body if they happen to want it disappear (it immediately sinks into the ground).
