Smole388 1 Posted July 25, 2012 Hello everyone, I'm farely new to DayZ. I've been playing for a few days and absolutely love it.Anyways, has anyone noticed that looting towns like Cherno and Elektro is farely easy (as of zombies) compared to a smaller town inland? I feel like zombies are highly concentrated in the small towns and it's also much harder to loose them then in a big town like Cherno. This may be just me. Vanglory 72 Posted July 25, 2012 Yea, it does strike me as odd.I've always noticed how zombies are EVERYWHERE on the outskirts of cities, yet when you get right in the damn middle of it, there isn't a single zombie to be find. What?!
mr_seacucumber 81 Posted July 25, 2012 Yes your right it is much easier to hunt in the big 3 then it is in the little towns IF there are no other players, the trick is the manage the risk if you are far north there may be less players who will shoot on sight in the towns but there will be more zombies and less buildings the run though to lose them. However if your spawning on the coast in on of the big towns the risk of getting killed from zombies if low but getting killed by bandits if a very high chance. Pro tip avoid fire stations on any high pop server :)

What?!Yeah, that could be due to a lot of reasons though. Such as players have killed them, how big the major cities are, etc.
