You know how many people have been to the north and south pole?

Recommended Posts

We've got a group with around 7 active players. Almost all of us are very fluent with the game and know a bit about it. We've picked up a few recruits here and there, but we're looking for a few more experienced guys.

All of us are geared and ready to do whatever - NVG's, etc.

If you're wanting to join, let me know. Toss me a PM and we'll get you guys on TS.

We take the game somewhat serious, but we know when to goof and when not to. Hope to see you guys joining us soon.

I appreciate the consideration, but I'm not a fan of TS at ALL...for numerous reasons.

It always blows my mind why everyone on dayz/BF3 stick with TS when Mumble is completely superior to it.

I may change my mind about TS, being such a trivial part of joining up with experienced players, I just question the use of teamspeak; being a relatively inferior voip imo.

Anything else aside from TS I can chat with you guys on?

Nope.

What's the problem with TS3? From my few years of experience with them both, Teamspeak 3 is much more friendly with users, for such features as permissions customization, groups, teams, channels, images, and self-changing voice options. Mumble/Ventrilo is outdated, but the servers are a bit more stable. I've been hosting my Teamspeak 3 server on a Linux VPS for over three weeks without a second of lag, downtime, or crashes.

If you're interested in joining, let me know. We don't use anything else. If you don't want to join, it's not going to break our hearts ;)

Hmm, you hosting the server yourself sounds appealing. I'm just aware of problems with TS and frapsing completely crashing the game, perhaps those kinks have been worked out.

I'll download and install it, if it pisses me off for some reason I guess I'll have to politely decline; otherwise I'll shoot you a pm shortly. :D

Hope to see you guys online soon. I just recruited two others, so we'll see how the night turns out o.o

I'll give you all the same words of encouragement when you join.
